I suggest that you run the program in compatibility mode and check if the issue persist. To change mode follow the steps below:
1. Right click on the application it and select Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab and then tick the box labelled Run this program in compatibility mode for.
3. Select the version of Windows that the app worked in before and Click OK.
4. Continue installing the file and check if it helps.
Thank you.

If you want to do monograms, another software to consider is the Monogram Wizard Plus. I knew when I bought the embroidery machine that I would probably do a lot of monogramming, and this software was recommended by several members of my sewing guild. It is not a Janome product, but it does allow you to save your files as.jef or.jef+. Still no answer to my reply to you suggestion, here is what I wrote earlier, can you or anyone else help at all?
'Hi! And thank you for your quick reply. As I mentioned in my original post, I did find the Compatibility Mode option on Windows. It is when I run Compatibility Mode that I get the Error: Usage DESLOADR.EXE <unknown publisher>. When I try to run the programme again, it just stops. I have tried compatibility mode for both XP and for Windows 7, both of which originally ran the programme. As I say, when I tried 'rolling back' to Windows 7, I am getting the same Error: Usage DESLOADR.EXE <unknown publisher> message, so I can't use the programme at all even on my original settings. The Compatibility programme does not fix the problem. Is there a problem with DESLOADR.EXE? Can I get some kind of fix? Many thanks. '
